1) Remove excess residue from stain.

OR
1) Rinse in cold water to dilute the stain.
2) Pretreat with Tide® Liquid. Pour Tide on to cover stain and let set for 20 minutes.
3) Wash in warm water with 1 use of Tide. Try Tide® Powder or Tide® with Bleach Powder.
4) If stain remains, repeat steps before drying. Before treating any garment, refer to the instructions on the care label. Always test solution on a hidden area first. If treating washable silk or wool, follow basic instructions, but hand wash.

Pour hydrogen peroxide on the stain. Let sit for an hour. Stain will be bleached out of carpet but not take away color from a light color carpet. No guarentees on darker rugs though.

If you (or a guest) spills red wine on white carpet or furniture, simply pour some white wine over the stain. This acts as a bleach and neutralizes the stain! Just another reason to have a bottle of white wine in the fridge.

All you have to do is crush salt on the stain, add club soda, and wait an hour. Vacuum it up and no more stain!

Gonzo Wine Out Stain Remover works great! Safe for fabrics, carpet and pets!!
Saved my expensive, new black and white shirt I wore for the first time

For red wine, pour white wine on the stain, then soak. After, wash in cold water.
For white wine, wash in cold water and ammonia.

Blot out your wine stain with some Hydrogen Peroxide 2%, then some tide stain solution before you wash it and aha...clean white shirt again.

I like to treat all stains on clothes, sheets, etc. with a good soak in Oxiclean, then wash as usual with Tide of course

Just pour some white wine on it and rinse well. Stain should be gone and your clothes ready for the next round.
